God Holy Spirit, Divine Fire, enkindle in all those who share the holy priesthood of Jesus Christ and Your apostolate the flames that transformed the disciples in the Upper Room. They will then no longer be ordinary men, but men living to transfuse the Divine life into the souls of their fellow men. Spirit of Light, imprint an indelible character of holiness on their souls, for their apostolates will be successful only in the measure in which they themselves live that supernatural life of which You are the Sovereign Principle and Jesus Christ is the Source.
Holy Spirit of Wisdom,
infuse Your grace into the hearts of the youth of our country. Call them in
greater numbers to the holy priesthood and missionary life. Urge them on to
be generous and to take upon themselves the work of God's Kingdom on earth.
Assured by the words of Jesus that what we ask in His Name will be granted,
I entreat You in His Name to increase the number of vocations to the priesthood
and religious state, and not to permit the work of the Church to be hampered
for lack of worthy leaders. Amen.
